Welcome mate. I'm also relatively new to Z ownership too having bought my 260 2 seater about 4 months ago. Very similar build to yours. Lindsay is a top guy. Great advice to give. Where in Melbourne are you? I'd love to meet up. Mine has the cream interior too but it's been dyed from its original and I'd love to see the colour. Are you on the s30 owners Facebook group? Hey all, Long shot, but wondering if anyone has a couple of spare NOS or reproduced interior faux wood door card trim pieces from the late 260z lying around. If not, has anyone had any experience with purchasing these from Z car depot? On the original door cards these are heat welded on during manufacturing. I'm having the door cards retrimmed locally as I can't source any off white late model 260 cards anywhere and wondering how on earth these would be attached. Has anyone seen this or had these specific door cards reupholstered? Thanks in advance. Ben

Ian has one for that. Was on Gumtree about 10 weeks ago. Good car with $8k of receipts from LCR recently on the engine. I put a deposit on it before changing my mind and getting the one I have now. Pm me if you want his details, not sure what his name on this forum is sorry. Solid car.

Hey Gav, I'm genuinely curious as to how you find these listings. Do you have alerts set up for anything z car on every sales website you can find or do you constantly search? I've been keeping an eye out for a rally clock but the only place I can find stuff is listings you post. Haha

Yeah I went and saw it a while ago. Took lots of pictures. There was some structural damage from a crash that had been hastily patched up in backyard job. Would need engineering to get a roadworthy I think. Lots of money for what it is and the condition it's in imo.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I've gone with a local club Classic JDM. Very reasonable price. Very relaxed and not much in the way of significant club commitments. More voluntary drive days and what not. Cheers Ben

Thanks Linton. Was going to join the NDSOC club I guess. Being based in Melbourne near Cheltenham I'm open to suggestions of anything else. Just transferred rego yesterday so have a current valid rwc. Do you know if NDSOC is approved?

Hey all, couldn't find anything covering this but just transferred full rego over into my name after my recent purchase. Rego runs out in Feb and Considering I'll probably only use the car on the weekends and special occasions when I can get away from the 4 kids I'm contemplating going club reg. Full rego in Vic is close to $900 and 120 days driven club rego is about $150. Can anyone suggest why I would keep it full rego that I can't think of because to me it seems like a no brainer, but maybe I'm missing something. Thanks in advance. Ben
