That will be great Johnboy. Brian Thompson, Simons dad has sent me a full set of Stanley screwdrivers to be Raffled off. Brian is un able to make it on the day, as he is manager of AG- Parts in Echuca, dare I say he is working. But a big thanks to Brian for his kind donation to the Club, and he sends his Regards to everyone , Brian and Simon were part of the 2010 Tassie trip.

Guys I picked up the trophies yesterday. We will need to nominate 2 or 3 judges. Not me. The way I would like to see the cars judged is not concourse style ,but just on what appeals to you, sort of like the car you would like to have or drive home, the most appealing. Not points for engine ,interior body work , paint etc, it gets to complicated and takes way to long. The most appealing car will have good paint, engine, interior etc. But the day is all about having fun and catching up with all the guys for Xmas. The trophies are just for a bit of fun or bragging rights LOL. Has your car got what it takes. Peter Mac would have been right up there. sigh.!. Any way good luck guys see you there. Gordon.

Great news Ash, good luck with the CH plates, who are you getting to do that for you? Will be nice to drive the zed again. Hi All, with less than 2 weeks to go I hope you guys have got your cars almost ready. Does anyone no if Noel Edwards knows about the BBQ, if some one could let him know. I went down to the shed the other weekend to start up the blue 240z. The first time since last year. It started but would not idle very well, every time I gave it a bit of throttle it would die. So I played with the SU carbys and put a bit of fresh fuel in it. The fuel must have been about 3 years old. Anyway she runs OK now so I can drive it to it's parking spot for a nother year. Looking around the back yard at the moment the grass is nice and green with all the rain, as apposed the the previous years been dry and the grass was starting to brown off in November. Anyway guys lets hope the weather is good, and look forward to seeing you all again. Regards Gordon.

Its ok Simon the red 280zx with the holden V8 is from NSW. I have ordered the trophies, just hope I get them in time.

Also , Rod Johnson as well as bringing his 2602+2 ,he is going to bring his V8 280zx. Great news for Simon. My fingers are crossed for good weather.

Hi Guys. Dave Robertson will be bringing his silver 240z. If you remember he also had the Burgandy 240z with the 302 v8 in it, I think 2008 or 9, but this car needs a bit more work on it. How many zeds is that Lurchos ?

Hi Guys Great News, today I had a visit from the ZCLUB ( 350z 370z ) And I am happy to announce they are going to jump on board with us on Sat 4Th Dec. Mario is happy to supply trophies for the following catergres. Best 350z, best 370z, best 240z , best 260z, and may be a best of the rest GTRs etc. So this has the potential to be the biggest and best zed Christmas BBQ show and shine we have had. It is still early days for them as the ball has just starting to gain momentum. They are talking about a meeting spot on Sat morning and drive cruse to my house. The last drive day they had 35+ cars, they have a great member bass,so with the BBQ and trophies there could be a lot more. So we need as many zeds as possible to try and beat them with numbers, so if you know anyone thinking of coming get on the phone and give them a rev up. Come on Boys and Girls lets make this the best ever. the more the merry er. I will keep you posted with more up dates asap. Cheers Gordon. PS 4 weeks to go.

Hi Guys, with only five weeks to go mark this one in the calender. I'm still waiting on comformation , but things are looking good for an injection of late model zeds from another zed based club in Melbourne. So it has the potential to be the biggest Christmas BBQ we have had. If these guys come it will be owesome, heaps of hot cars. But keep posted I will update ASAP. Cheers Gordon.

Thanks for coming guys. I've never see so many nice nissan datsuns on the one drive day. Some of those 370zeds where Hot!! and lots of them, I will be keeping an eye out for the next drive. Eroll said he could not get over how easy my car gets the job done. I must say that was the most fun I have had driving since Tassie, and then to get a littel chuckel from Eroll every time we nailed a corner was just Gold . See ya next time. Gordon.

Simon, they are leaving Nunawading Macas at 7.00am and will be coming through Lilydale at about 7.25am . That's were I will be in the Repco car park opp Nissan. CB channel 26. They have 28 cars so far plus Friends plus Skyline's Aus has it on there site, so it's going to be huge, See you there. PS I have entered DECA as well.Cheers.

Well Guys, if you are looking for a good spirited drive next weekend, here it is, get your car out of the garage and have a drive with about 30 zeds, mostly 350 and 370zeds, great roads and bring your CB radios, seeyou there, cheers Gordon.

I have known Zedman240 for years and would also like to thank him for all his help. I can recall at lest 3 times he has got my car going after some sort of electrical drama at a sprint meeting. Dimitri is so generous with his time, and willing to go out of his way to help. He is a rare breed of person, we are lucky to have him on board. Thanks for all your help Dimitri. Regards Gordon.
