  1. I am unsure sorry
  2. It won't let me upload pics here so here is a link to Gumtree Datsun 240Z seals and lights, http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/mooroolbark/other-parts-accessories/datsun-240z-seals-and-lights/1121272631?utm_source=com.android.mms&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=socialbuttons&utm_content=app_android Includes quarter seals, rear main, lights, floats and bonnet and window seals
  3. Yeah, there are aftermarket hatches out there for those interested, not a big issue. I did have a vented hatch lined up but was too much of a tight arse to pay what the bloke wanted. You could be right about the year, I just feel it's 70, I guess I will have to confirm that.
  4. Yeah my understanding is 500 had the last vented hatch. It wasn't for originality, I just like the look. I'm also pretty confident it's a '70
  5. Yes, I bought the black vinyl 240Z that was on ebay not long ago. I'm going to be honest. I paid 16k, it wasnt running and was 2 colours. I have since replaced the fuel pump, painted a few panels and generally tidied it up It is very good rust-wise feel free to bring a magnet. The worst is in the hatch, which is obviously easily replaceable (I've been trying to hunt down an early vented hatch) Why am I selling so soon you may ask? Well I won a house auction on Saturday, and am going on holiday to Europe in 2 weeks, so I feel it would be a good idea to put the coin into the mortgage rather than sitting around the house. Any inspections welcome. No low ballers, I'm not in a rush to sell, I don't need to sell, I just think it is a smart choice. I'll get some pics on the weekend PM Me
  6. I went and checked out this car today. Considering it was advertised for 14.5k last October, the young bloke selling it wants obscene coin for it. He mentioned to me he would be happy with 22k. Anyway as for the car, latch panel for the hatch is fine, wheel well is fine, battery tray is fine but there appears to be bog in the rear of each sill, bottom of both doors have rust bubbles, drivers floor pan has had a plate put in, rear hatch has the damage shown in the picture (he said it leaks a little), there's some nasty bubbling in the firewall near the throttle but no hole yet. But as has been mentioned earlier, its very hard to grasp the effect with it being under vinyl and I mentioned that to him. The interior has been repainted a sandy colour and has many cracks in the paint. but overall it seems rather looked after. The radio surround has been crudely cut to fit a later model CD player. Carpet is in good condition and there are no tools I can't speak much engine-wise but it is all there
  7. The beautiful SSR Longchamps, one of the best wheels to come out of Japan in my opinion Need a good polish (one centre may need a face grind - if you are picky, due to oxidisation). Looked good on my MX61. I was holding on to them as I was gonna step them up on a s30, but got a BNR32 instead, so I can't see myself getting the Datsun anytime soon. Have new bolts too $400, less than what they owe me. Located in Croydon, not keen on postage; I'd prefer you see them first
  8. did you check it out by any chance? anything worth noting?
  9. Hey guys was cleaning out the shed today and found this It's in average condition and will need a bit of work, or cut it up for a 432 style grille The left side is pretty good, but the right hand side has some bent fins and the upright would need a little bit of weld or similar (as pictured) $20ono Located Eastern Suburbs PM Me
  10. Here is a 1997 Holden Barina that I have had some fun with Instead of the boring old bubble car, I decided to make something different. some mods I have made are- - Front yellow fog lights - "Custom" front Opel Badge, with most of the Holden insignia removed - A rear Opel badge from the 1920-30's hanging as 'drift candy' - Roof racks with ski racks and skis - "Blast pipe" style exhaust tip - It has a front plastic lip that has a few nice touches to it (fatlace decal, cable ties that do nothing and a opel lapel badge tied on) - The front number plate is intentionally tilted for more madness - Aftermarket front speakers (Sony from memory) - It has windscreen wiper visors - A CAMS sticker - I also have a half finished duckbill rear spoiler for the buyer NB: The car currently has watanabe style rims on it but these are NOT included with sale, instead you will be getting 4 steelies with basically new tread. This car has been my daily for the last 6 months or so whilst I got my other car back on the road, so it is time to sell. Exterior is average/good condition with some panel damage on the passenger side, Interior is great condition and mechanically perfect. It has very low k's, is ever reliable- I have never had any issues at all with the car and I am going to miss the economy of this car (40L will get you over 600k's). It also has twin front airbags and a A/C switch, but it does not seem to blow any colder, so it may need regassing or the A/C doesnt exist, I don't know. $1500 ono Price does not include registration, but if you get your own RWC, I will include current rego (until May) at no cost. For RWC I think it may need rear brakes (a little squeaky) and the front lip is probably a little too low. Not looking for swaps unless it is one of the following- NA MX5 240Z/260Z 2 seater Z10 Soarer HR31 Skyline AW11 MR2 MSGs only please, no calls- 04 double2 double9 7 double2 3

  13. if he was in to zeds, why did he let this go so cheap?
  14. text message sent
  15. that would be a good deal, in fact I wouldnt mind it, but those flares look anus and would have to go
  16. I thought so too, called him up and its a different one, he has owned it for 3 yrs and it was previously in QLD
  17. call me a tightarse but that shouldn't break the 10k barrier
  18. keen on some pics too, auto or manual?
  19. not sure how they would fit up, but the seller has 'zed' in his name http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/watanabe-16x8-240z-ae86-s13-180sx-watanabes-/170848683007?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27c76003ff
  20. Yeah thats him, his name is Zac, he bought my 2+2 off me a couple years ago. He is trying to downsize his collection, offered me mine back, but it had doubled in price since i sold it to him, so no (he had done some work to it, but not worth that much to me)
  21. 2000 Model Yamaha DT175 50th anniversary The red framed DT175s were apparently a limited edition to celebrate 50 years. Air cooled 2 stroke engine does not get much simpler than that, very little to go wrong. Runs really well and has only been ridden once since a top end rebuild a few months ago Comes with recreational registration until March 2013, and has all the rec reg gear (mirrors, headlight etc.). It also has a bark busters, renthal bar pad and pro taper grips and both tyres have plenty left on them Mechanically it is in great condition and overall it is in very good condition. Only downsides are some the plastics have cracks (expected for its age) and have been glued to hold them together and there is a small dent on the fuel tank. Great bike to learn on, or a nice cheap one if you don't ride too often Negotiable on $1500. PM me if interested also able to help with transport if you are local Located in Croydon, Vic
  22. I'll have to call the bank and tell them I no longer need that loan
  23. equally as shocking is the fact some people have bid on it
