good to see this car progressing. its slowly giving me motivation to get off my ass and work on mine. what sort of suspension mods are you looking at getting? -

Hi All, Just wondering if anyone has used AZC Coilovers in their 240z? Quite tempted in purchasing a set as our dollar is so high. Would anyone suggest another setup over the AZC coilovers? Cheers

^ cant let that get to you. we dont have have to make it a z car meet. many other forums organise meets, we could just all show and use that as an avenue to meet.

yeh i was thinking 2 1/4". Thats what i had on my ol' honda type r 4 banger. Would be the biggest id go on an NA application.

ill be keeping it carbied (just love that sound - and having a choke is cool lol) for the moment itll be just the factory manifold. later on extractors will be changed. any companies around here which ppl would recommend for extractors? id imagine all the aftermarket ones for z would be quite rare and expensive these days so will probably have to go for custom

Hi Guys, Ive tried searching but could not find the answer i was looking for. Im looking to upgrade my exhaust on my l24 240z. Down the track i am looking to upgrade to the l28. My question is will the exhaust from an l24 be a straight swap to the l28? I dont want to get a new exhaust then have to change it down the track when i change engines. ps. if this has been covered then please feel free to flame me. its the only way ill learn

Hi All, I'm looking to find an l28 for my 240. Would like a sydney seller. Will be using this to learn more about engines, build it up into a monster and then maybe one day drop it into the z my self.

i think the main problem with finding an rbZ is that owners which have gone through that level of heart/headaches will be hard pressed to want to part with their cars.

Nah I'm not running the hayashis or the flares yet. Both are still sitting in my garage. In regards to stretching tyres. I'm not a huge fan. I agree with the others in that wide rims deserve wide tyres, stretching for cosmetics looks crap to me. Although on certain cars it does look good eg. Bosozoku
