Thanks for the responses guys. I'm not really worried if it improves the handling of the car or slows me down, as long as it looks good. lol! Maybe my headlight covers will even out the spoiler drag? I do like the black on white, same color as my car. I thought the 3piece might look better color matched like the front spoiler... Yeah I looked at the sparrow tail in carbon fibre, but it reminded me of the whale tails. Can someone explain what testing is?

Haha, guess a zed can make anything look good.... I could fit a whale tail, it'd be a mobile work bench on race days.... could drill some holes to mount a vice on it hehe. I don't mind the ducktail but just looking for something a little different. The wheels came up well Whittie, look great!

Hey Guys I'm after your opinions on what would look good as a rear spoiler for 240z's, I really like the IMSA 3piece fibreglass one I would color match it to my car, I have a large front air dam and no flares. I'm after something a little different to the standard 'ducktail' but don't want it to look like an SLR5000 (shudder!).

Carbon canister on the webbers wtf! I'd definately go to a different branch, they sound tight. Just put the original back in, like MaygZ said there's prob a note on the file...... then do as you please. Also book for late in the day, that way they are sick to death of inspecting cars and itching to get home!

I have a late 73 240z. I have the three piece rear with the hooks to hide the joins also. Is this normal??

weird... I've never heard of that before. I know people who have gone through the oakliegh branch without a problem, barely looked at it.

Sorry that was a 240z, should be 223mm total for a 260z with 24-35mm free travel

Have you adjusted the clutch pedal travel properly? It should be 202mm +or- 5mm from firewall/toeboard (bottom curved part of firewall) to front of pedal.. Included in that there should be 10-15mm of free travel.......

Try looking at Benzeds build thread, he used electric heaters. No heater core, no silly tap, no leaks and best of all you dont need to wait for the car to warm up before you have any decent heat/demist. -

I have a 73 240z and thats where my earths are... I just had a look at haynes datsun manual wiring diagrams and they show headlight earths near the horns on a 77 model so maybe try there

Have you checked and cleaned the earth in front of the radiator support?
