That doesn't really look like a bonnet that can be fixed, its pretty banged up and bent.

Hey Dingo just wondering if it comes with most parts to complete, excluding the bonnet as stated. As the previous post mentioned would it be possible to get some current photos of the car? Cheers

The quality of those kits don't look to be that great plus the scale is 1/24, the Tamiya scale is 1/12. I guess it depends on what you want, if you just want something that looks like a 240 they are fine but if your a proper collector/modeler (which i am not) then you wouldn't waste your efforts on a low quality kit. Just out of boredom i decided to look at hobby co and i stumbled upon this http://www.hobbyco.com.au/product/show_item.php?plu=T12010 I don't know if anyone is interested in stuff like that but if you are i reckon it would look pretty cool when properly completed, i may even go and take a look myself. Saw a silver 2 seater today not sure if it was 240 or 260, it had an unpainted repair job on the right pillar section leading up to the roof it was on Kingsgrove Rd heading down towards the M5.

I have just been looking at the website and it doesn't say 2011 can anyone confirm that this is on this Sunday? Anyone planning to go or better yet anyone entering?

This was sold between 2000-2500 about 6-8 months ago and it sold for a little more before that, i believe this is the third time its being offered for sale this year. It had one year worth of rego on it, when it last sold it was in Newcastle i believe and before that it was in Bankstown and according to the add it is now in Ashfield. Makes you wonder why its getting passed around so much, just some info for a prospective buyer, in other words be wary.

It may be that but with no car and no trailer it can get quite costly to organize transport.

Yeah that white 240 actually got sold it was taken off ebay and his website a while back now, kind of makes you wonder who would buy it if was as bad as what everyone said it was.

Well basically i am after a 240 or 260 2 seater (or 2+2 if the price/condition is right) i am looking at something around the 5k mark something that's not too far gone and is relatively complete. Prefer a manual but apparently changing to manual is easy enough so if its auto may still be interested Dont mind if there needs to be some work done, if the interior is missing its still fine so long as the price reflects on the work to be done/parts to aquire. Why is it when i don't look at the website for a few days a good deal seems to come up and i miss it Although im looking for a 2 seater 240, thats a good price and it looks fairly clean apart from the poor rust repairs if it can even be called that haha.
