Ahhh good point jason. Car is up in eumundi (bout an hour up the coast) and will be dropped off in stafford on the northside. Issue I have is i'll be driving up towing with my forester then bringing it back with a car that can tow 2 ton:) Which has made it difficult to book through the hire company's. got a quote of 400 bucks for a tow truck which im not real keen on doing Cheers Lawrence

Did he mention what kind of hp he got from it? I am totally amazed what the japs can get out of the l series. Seen some on youtube pushing 450.

haha one of the reasons i settled on the zed as i knew you could buy these kits however have now grown to appreciate the car in its own right and racing history and couldnt do it to an already great looking car:) I found out about the kits after watching tom cruise drive a replica in vanilla sky in 2001 and thought yep I need to buy a zed:)

please dont subject your zed to any fiberglass apart from a zg spoiler and after a great deal of thought, possibly zg flares......and thats possibly..... you dont see hg monaros gt falcons or any other respected classics covered in modern body kits do you? Elanor is an exception......actually no its not rant over haha

got home to the package at the door. without having much to compare to they seem to be pretty decent. your right, the seal isnt great....not rubber more a rubberised foam..... without comparing to the 260z seals im assuming the OEM are rubber?

as much as I love my zed after 10 years of ownership, i have to remind myself its still a datsun (albeit an appreciating one ) There are some on here that have had bucket loads of cash spent on them but my pockets arent that deep. Running OEM parts is not a huge consideration for me as its far from stock and originality went out the window as soon as the previous owner/s tossed the matching numbers motor, painted it bright red and stuck crappy race seats in it adding the 17 inch wheels and a few other things:) it gets driven monthly maybe fortnightly in summer and will never be a show pony. Although I want to return it to period style........have most of the bits and pieces now, I wouldn't consider paying 400+ for original lights that need to be dismantled cleaned polished re glued and still have imperfections and cracks.....but thats just me........ if they fit well, look good/clean and get the job of indicating and braking done... i'm happy. Will try and post a vid when i do the full conversion......that said anyone have the 240z rear bezels lying round? Cheers!

Hey All 15x8 RKRs have just popped up on Ebay. First time i've seen them in Aus....... has anyone got these on a 260z with a 0 offset? ive got the hilux front and stock rear drums..... clearance issues? Cheers!

hey all Was talking to my brother last night about doing a wilwood upgrade however he has said that wilwood don't have ADR approval and therefore will not pass? can anyone confirm this? as its a road car also, any potential accident could be a huge insurance issue if he is correct.... cheers!
