A reasonably well known car on this forum, see build thread here: http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,2043.0.html
DAT240 is a 1973 240Z (Australian delivery) which was built for club racing.
The presentation is more that of a race car than a show car, despite which it won best modified Z at the Nissan Datsun nationals a couple of years back.
It also won fastest in its class with a 1.09 around Wakefield Park and it runs a 12.8 second quarter mile.
6-throttle L28-based 3166cc engine makes just over 160kW at the wheels with the current tune.
As the thread shows a lot of metalwork was carried out to eliminate rust and the car features many fibreglass panels and carbon fibre components.
The driveline, brakes and suspension have all had a lot of work to match the work done on the engine.
It has 12 months rego and the plates are included. Also included are many spare parts including original interior trim panels, dash, bonnet, hatch, glass, L24 engine, extra wheels and tyres etc. (will do a list later)
The car has appeared in many magazines, most recently in the current issue of Performance Garage (pics attached).
The price is $40,000 which I think is fair considering what some 240Zs are being listed for these days. Build cost was over $60,000.
