    Yes Welcome I watched that one on ebay, had a swag of good bits with it. I must admit since owning a 2+2 after having my 2 seater for 13 years i am getting fond of the longer model. Perhaps i'll keep the 2+2 and sell my 2 seater! Should be an easy project for you to finish.

    I don't think we would have anyone here who won't talk about their Zed but can somtimes be a pain to tell the same story to two or three different groups on the same day. Then again their are guys here who have bought their Zeds built and therefore have little story to tell. Just spitballing is all.

    Weird midnight thought but on other events we have had a display vehicle centrepiece. Perhaps if we had a willing owner we could ask them to share the story of their Zed? Remember it only happens once a year. I would love to hear more about craigs bus and he seems to cope ok with the public speaking bit Just a thought.

    Yes like that but the police on the side would be in Japanese. Should do the 2+2 V8 like that!!

    I would like to see a black and white Japanese Police car with ghosted pearl graphics on either door. A clip on light bar for shows perhaps something a little more modern than the old dome lights would complete the picture.

    Welcome, yes that is one very tidy Zed. Do you have pictures of your fuseable link modification?

    Wizz off both rims and measure distances of the struts that may affect it, make sure the struts are identical.

    The radiator arrived monday and i had to fit a new regulator to the VS V8 80amp Alternator. The amp gauge sings now and all i had to do to fit it was make a custom VS to Datsun wiring harness and change out the front cover for the ford unit. Very little to do now, she is drivable at this point.

    Was an exciting day for all I just ordered the radiator so i'll be able to drive her further than up and down the driveway. Next will be the bumpers and front brake upgrade then i'll get a permit. Could i drive it to the BBQ on a permit?

    I only need the o-rings for in between the calipers, the rest is brand new, on another note i finally got my electrics sorted in the 2+2 so i can get those indicator stalks out to you this week.
