As the topic states. As far as I know everything from windscreen onwards is interchangable (although not identical). But what about the interior (particularly the dash)? rear lights assembly? etc.

What color would suit a 240z well? What are your opinions? I really like white 240zs, but orange ones look interesting too. Please provide some pics to support your view.

The budget that I have to spend on car right now is $1000 (that's including the original purchase of the vehicle). The plan is to get the car cheaply and restore it over the next 2-3 years. I was planning to get the body into reasonable condition by myself with ahelp of my mate who is a welder and then paint it simple white color at another mates paintshop. I do not plan to keep the carstock and restore it to original condition. Mechanically - I was planning to get an rb30e out of a r31 skyline or a 3.8l V6 outof a vn, simply because those engines are easier to find the parts for and have slightly better power stadard, while remaining P-plates legal (considering their relatively high mass). So any other opinions on that car? PS I wish I could get it for free.
