620Z Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 Here's a nice Zed in NSW for someone serious about buying quality but doesn't have the time to build it them selves. Spent 58 and sell for 40K. He would be lucky. Would definately get it for less than that. I reckon 20-25K would be more likely. http://www.my105.com/classified.asp?id=8969&latest=1 Quote
C.A.R. Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 It looks damn nice. Don't know why he's called it a 'Targa 240Z' though - there's nothing 'Targa spec' about it... He'll be hard pushed to get 40k for it though. Quote
RBZ 260 Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 i like the door trim trick he did matching the tunnel. NICE Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted May 9, 2008 Moderators Posted May 9, 2008 You're right Craig, he would be lucky to get 25ish for it. Gavin Strongman got 45k for his 260Z but virtually everything on it was new from Nissan. Big L28, option 1 gearbox etc. The only targa thing on that is the rear strut brace? heheh .Wheres the terratrip, rollcage etc? If it was a full nut and bolt resto, should sell it easily. Quote
sco_aus Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 I dont see this as a bad thing. Hes raising the bar and if people start doing it, we might get more money for our Zs. Quote
Mr Camouflage Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 Spent $58K and he didn't even put a R200 LSD in it? Quote
fufu Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 To go along with Mr Camouflage's first point. From what it looks like his big brake package is some random drilled brake rotors and it isn't all that big, it looks pretty standard. So my point is... spent $58k but no front and rear willwoods package? Quote
