d3c0y Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 *****THESE ARE NOT CRAP CHEAP EBAY HEADERS***** Hey Guys, Now I am installing my stroker i have a spare exhaust system for the car. It includes 6-2-1 headers with nice length secondaries mated to a full 2 1/4" mild steel system with oval sports muffler and chrome 3" tip. The whole system mounts very snugly to the car and the tip fits right up perfectly in the cut out of the rear pannel. The system is not overly loud unless you are really getting up it say around 6000rpm and has no drone on the highway. The header provided a noticable gain in performance over the standard exhaust manifold even on the stock L24. This system is perfect for any street/mild race L series up to 2.8L where generally going any bigger in the pipes will probably just loose torque. I had the system made for my car when i bought it two years ago, however the car has always been garaged and would be lucky to have seen 2000km in that time as it is usually pulled appart in the garage. The headers still have the apint on them and from memory there is no rust on any of the pipe work to speak of. The setup is currently one piece and is located on the gold coast $500 ready to bolt in.
