Intake manifold & linkage kit for tripples - Suppliers in Australia?

Oh and forgot to mention the Redline model is listed for $325.00 at Autobarn in Dandenong which is a much better price than the Gemparts model on offer. They must be trying to pitch them to the US market at the price they are asking.

I might just buy the redline manifold. I've heard their linkage kit is a bit ordinary though. I'm pretty sure there is a place you can buy all the components like PTFE ball joints and rods from and make your own. Any ideas on where sucha supplier might be? One bloke told me go to a RC model shop for these parts!?

I know that Jap site "Kimaeri" (not sure of spelling) sells them but pretty dear.

When I set up my triples I went to a CBC Bearings shop and bought imperial threaded rod and rod ends. They fit into the manifold easily. Just needs some work to fit them all up. I can take a close up pic if you need to see it in detail...

Yea that's the same as the one i have that came from Tokyo...$550 US Dollars brand new ...Hmmmm

And i used some speco linkages (brass) and they are fantastic. it also has it's own rose joints with plastic bushes and a really clever return spring.

Hey sulio, how did you find the redline linkage kit? dodgey or pretty good or average?

cheers

Is the redline kit a Lynks kit sold by Redline? I can't remember but the Lynks kit i bought was ok. Works fine but the arms are a little flimsy and I reckon the rose joints could be better.

Scoota, I like the brass speco linkages you found. Glen should have alook at them. $15 ea weren't they?
