Hi guys,

Joined around 2007 after buying a 260 2+2... Unfortunately it's taken until about 1.5 years ago to pull the cover off the old girl and get started!

Will eventually start a build log, but basically the build is at the point where the car has been dismantled, cut out and repaired about a square metre of rust inc a floorpan, and currently forming some flared guards as a bit of a break from the metalwork.

Plan is to install an rb25det neo along with brake upgrades, suspension, etc.  Also planning to modernize it a bit with the custom flares, taillights and an interior stuffed with lots of tech gadgets :-)

Progress is slow with the time pressures of a new family and work, so it'll probably bemonths between updates, but I'll do my best to keep you all updated!

Thanks for all the stuff I've learnt already by reading forums!

Daniel

Cheers guys.  I've collated all my pics that resided on the camera, phone, and various computers round the house - so with any luck will be able to post some things in the gallery soon.

Also putting together a list of 1-piece modern looking low/zero/negative offset wheels with the back and front spacing calculated for each which might be of some help to people looking for affordable wheels with a more modern look.

And I recently took possesion of a second hand Volvo 4-pot based, 290mm vented front brake set up for the 260z off ebay - once I know which part number rotor and disc it uses I'll create a thread on the conversion process (if one doesn't already exist).
