Also, more detailed pics, eg- interior.

I have more pics but it only lets me load 4. Car has a sunroof and is a 3 speed auto. Can send more pics to interested buyers including interior, engine bay and the trophies. Travelled 144,000 since new, motor restored 2 years ago by previous owner.

It was a concouse car. Didnt mds ban that thread/user. Rego plate rings a faint bell!

 

What concouse show has this car, above, won.

 

Not to detract, but a crap non running rusty complete 280zx would fetch from a couple hundred, to ones in fairly OK cond, registered, RWC, neat interior, good body around 4k, maybe 5.

 

This one has to be absolutely schmicko at 10+

Chris - Not a concern mate, I've been looking at placing additional advertising on the site to help cover operating costs and reduce need for donations. Would rather cars like this pop up here first than anywhere else. Of course if you have feedback about advertising on the site I've also got a thread set up for feedback around that.

By the way guys I'm all for debate on prices of Z's, but if you take into consideration the cost of restoration of a half decent car - let's say tired paint, interior and engine bay. You would easily spend more than 10K to get it into the condition this appears to be in.

 

So I guess it depends on the buyer, do they want a turn key car or a project?

 

I like the rare lime/yellow tint colour of this car. Not seen many ZX's in that colour around.

wow that is a nice car and in a good combination with the yellow over the black interior. 10k+ is alot for a 280zx but that is an exceptional car. like the 240z I guess, keep it for long enough and who knows. good luck hopefully it finds a good home.

last 2+2 fairlady in this condition in manual in japan was 12k AUD keep in mind that was a 5 speed

 

autos are generally a lot less.

 

i saw a shinto edition? i think they call it? the fully white on white version in manual in similar condition all of the interior was original all guages working and looked like it had been covered in plastic all its life and it was selling for 10k that was also a manual

 

personally being an auto i dont think it will get as much as he wants but im happy to be proven wrong
