This is still in planning stage but with the amount of power I'm looking to have. Between 600hp to 800hp. I am going to need some big wheels. Looking at around 17" rims 7 wide at front with  215/45 and the rears being 275/35r17 with 9.5" rims.  Now I have seen a bolt on flare guards.  Not the look I'm going for. So will need to replace the front panels but only flaring out enough to cover the front wheels. The rear of the car flare out to equal the front and the rest to go mini tub.  With this wheel and tire setup, also going to need to rework the whole rear suspension set up. Got no clues yet on what I am going to do with that problem.

The plan for the car is to be street driven mainly. The odd drag meet and circuit as well.

well you don't have to mod the front to get that wheel in ,,,, and the strut on the rear stops you tubing inwards , so it has to go out  if you wont big wheels  .

Well in that case I might go for a wider tire and wheel at the front then. As for the rear, im going to have to redesign the whole suspension, Just dont know what style of suspension to go for yet.

well this is true. This is one of the things I need to work out before i start with the tools. Traction control is only going to help so much....lol and the right foot not being all the way to the floor...lol

What wheels and tires do you use Peter and how much of the guards did you flare out and did you tub ?

well why not ,,, well where do i start , because if you drive it on the street and you don't respect how crazy they are it will kill you , there a track car over 400 hp atw never should be on road  . so much fun over 500hp aw when the front wheels come of the ground
