I know this has been done to death but wondering if anybody know if the FC RX7 seats fit into a 260 2+2?

Theres been lots of talk about the FD one, just nothing I can find on the forums or google about the FC ones.

Thanks

C

cant answer yes or no on your question, but a suggestion for you...

Have a look (maybe ask on a rotor forum) if the FD seats fit into a FC, and if they are a straight bolt in.

If they are, its reasonable to assume that it'll work both ways into the zed, with the same mods required to the front of the seat rail on the FC seat.

If they need large mods to the rails, then you'll know you'll probably need to do lots of mods.

Or, maybe it'll be a case of bolting the FD rails to the FC seat, then modding it to fit the 260z.

there is a thread on seat fitments on hybridz. IIRC it is possible but requires the trans tunnel to be bashed in a bit with a hammer.

housemate isn't home yet sorry, prob won't get a chance to look at it until sometime over the weekend

I've got FD seats in my car so the best i'll be able to do is tell you if they look roughly the same. There's a chance he'll know if fd seats are a bolt in fit to FC's and therefore you'll have your answer as stated above

Why do you want FC seats? I think the FD seats / MX-5 seats suit the S30 much more as they are similar in shape to the stock S30 seats. Are FD seats in Australia expensive to get?

Over here you can get them for under £100 - in fact you almost can't give them away. But leather ones are more expensive and re-trim kits are relatively expensive.

BTW: Jay's car the dark grey 2+2 you posted a picture of has S2000 seats in it.

Sorry for the late reply...

Just asked about the fc seat as I could get a set cheap, seems any kind of sports seats fd rx7 or s2000 are expensive over here in oz.

Best option is the mx5 ones I think, value for money wise.
