Whittie Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Hey Guys, I just got my rego notice today and found this written on the conditions of the form: CONDITIONS: 301 Imported Vehicle - exempted from the Australian Design Rules and from the fitment of a compliance plate Now, my reading of that is that this car does NOT EVER have to comply with ANY ADR.... Is my reading correct? If it is, I'm about to go and do the biggest happy dance you've never seen!! Quote
Linton Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 My take on reading up on this is that it "may" apply to imported vehicles that are brought in with out compience plate. Your Z was originally imported to meet the adr's of the day therefore you are not exempt, good try though and I am not an expert in these matters just googled your conditions Linton Quote

Does your car have a complence plate, and are you registering for the first time after being un-registered for some time? Quote
