Got my 260 Z 2+2

Happy new year to all.

Finally got a 260 Z and now have the job of stripping it back to bare metal,

repair rust? and painting. Interior is good apart from dash.

What a great forum this is, so much info.

Could I please have some feedback on importing complete rubber seals kit

from U.S.

as far as seal kits go, check out Scotts Old Auto Rubber in Oakleigh - they seem to carry everything you need...

Yes, but for a hefty cost.

And by the way....never trust Scotts' Glue.

If your not in a rush E-bay can be pretty good for certain seals like the front window seal kit, Rare Spares also sell quite a few bits and pieces. I was surprised to find a lot of common rubbers like good Bailey Channel for the windows to seal nicely at Clarke Rubbers of all places but not all stores have the auto rubbers, I know the one in Oakliegh does.

Will send some photos before stripping all the paint of.

As I will be painting the complete car, and all the glass etc will have to come out a complete set of rubbers will be needed.
