lilpug Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Happy new year to all. Finally got a 260 Z and now have the job of stripping it back to bare metal, repair rust? and painting. Interior is good apart from dash. What a great forum this is, so much info. Could I please have some feedback on importing complete rubber seals kit from U.S. Cheers, Peter. Quote
Bruce Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 gday Peter, have you got any photos of the new purchase? cheers Bruce Quote
Zeddophile Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 as far as seal kits go, check out Scotts Old Auto Rubber in Oakleigh - they seem to carry everything you need... Quote
JP240z Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Yes, but for a hefty cost. And by the way....never trust Scotts' Glue. Quote
Toecutter Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 If your not in a rush E-bay can be pretty good for certain seals like the front window seal kit, Rare Spares also sell quite a few bits and pieces. I was surprised to find a lot of common rubbers like good Bailey Channel for the windows to seal nicely at Clarke Rubbers of all places but not all stores have the auto rubbers, I know the one in Oakliegh does. Good Luck Quote

As I will be painting the complete car, and all the glass etc will have to come out a complete set of rubbers will be needed. checking on the net, found two places.
