sydney mike Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Rock legend or not, if Bono jumped across the bonnet of my Zed...... at 4:10 and 4:16 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hW88EvEAd0k Quote
Roberto Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 He REALLY slams his arse into the bonnet centre. Would definitely leave a dent.......No respect I knew a girl who thought she would be glamorous / funny by laying on the bonnet of my zed one night. I wasn't laughing Quote

garvice Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Who is he pointing too? The driver is on the left and there is no passenger. Quote
Mr240z Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 It was only a 260z Mike you leave bono alone.. Quote
sco_aus Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Regardless of zed bonnet jumping, I would still like to punch the prat in the nose. The irony is, I am going to watch them in concert I'm Sydney lol, it was the Missus idea Quote
xa1973 Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 Considering the age of that clip.....and who Bono is today I would dare say it would fetch a fair price at Auction... Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted November 28, 2010 Moderators Posted November 28, 2010 He'd probably be the ONLY guy that I'd let lightly dent my bonnet.. How many members here have let others lean with their elbows on the guards leaving nice undulations all the way down? Quote
sydney mike Posted November 28, 2010 Author Posted November 28, 2010 Considering the age of that clip.....and who Bono is today I would dare say it would fetch a fair price at Auction... Don't wish to hijack thread......hang on...this is mine but I beg to differ. I am a huge fan of their earlier work but (have every album upto zooropa)IMOJoshua Tree best, Achtung Baby was/is a legendary album but everything after was a bit mediocre they should have disbanded. Again, IMO they were at their peak back then and the car would have fetched a fair price at that time, but now I think U2 have outstayed their welcome. Jennifer Hawkins maybe but Bono, please GTFO my bonnet! Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted November 28, 2010 Moderators Posted November 28, 2010 Agree with you there Mike... But like I said he'd be the only guy I'd let but as for women, that's another thread. Quote
zipZom Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Who is he pointing too? The driver is on the left and there is no passenger. He is talking to his reflection in the windshield, i think he says "i look good" . Ya, I would be pretty upset too. Unless I was going 80 mph, then that would be cool. _____________ www.b2bmedia.com Quote

Went and saw U2 last night in Melbourne........granted they have been around a while but they are still one of the coolest rock bands ever. Bono actually looks a bit dorky in the early clips compared to now. Quote

Not sure of your age KatoKid (i'm 38) but maybe thats what makes U2 such a great act-to appeal to more than one generation and the ability to evolve their style of music. Nevermind me, I'm just an old fart stuck in the past! Quote
KatoKid Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 You old b***ard! Make me laugh....me 49. But seriously the support act was rapper JZ and youre right the crowd was a real mix of generations and got off on JZ as much as U2. Quote
