Roberto Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 This is hilarious. He eventually gets it done (9 parts) but could have saved himself alot of time...... Quote
zzzzed Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 haha he made it sound so hard hey bud!! hes going to do it 1 wheel at a time lol. what do you usualy do them all at once??? Quote
Six_Shooter Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Wow, some people make things WAY harder than they need to be on themselves. The guy is annoying too. I've just skipped through a few videos because he's so annoying. That is perfect material to show why I do my own work, and why people want me to do their for for them. Quote
NZeder Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 "Fender well is fall'n out of the fender bud" - no wonder the USA say the 260z/280z got heavy with all that crap in the guards lol - I have never seen that on a zed before - yes I have heard of the inner fender/guard shields but never seen them before. zzzzed Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 i hope he dosnt charge by the hour.. 4 hours to do 1 front fender.. took me 20 mins to cut it and bolt it up Quote
handsandwhich Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Imagine being taught by that guy for 8 hours a day! That front flare is mounted up seriously high, it actually sits at the top of the guard. He has actually chopped out the side indicator sheetmetal, that's how high up it's mounted. Quote
LC260z Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 hey lurch, do we have enough cash in the kitty to fly pete and bruno over for the next tuition day? Quote
luvemfast Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Guy comes accross as a bit of a tool, but that makes it more interesting to watch I suppose. He does mention that its lowered 3 inches and those wheels are HUGE Quote
Ben Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Just a few comments ... Is Pete Tommy Lee Jones' lost brother? 1972 Datsun 280Z If anyone did grinding on my car, with the paintwork unprotected like that, I'd cut off their nuts... (Not to mention throwing the flare around the workshop.) Pity the fool that wants to drive that car and steer it - the wheels are friggin huge! The end result looks pretty good though. Quote
OZ001 Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Ready to go mountain biking? Ready to hit the trails bud?.... Oh shit, now you're excited and gonna rub your ass! Hahahahaha, he's a bit of a tool "as long as the jobs done" Quote
handsandwhich Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 I like the part where the flare gets wedged in between the bumper bar and guard, so he just yanks it out! Quote
RB30X Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 I wonder off the owner wanted his carbon fibre flares colour coded with the car? Remember dude, you don't own the world, nobody owns the world. Quote
Six_Shooter Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 I just skipped through the last 4 or 5 videos, I can't stand listening to him talk... Man, it only got worse from the start, Only. Got. Worse. I too wonder about the owners reaction once he saw the painted carbon fibre flares. Quote
