Hi,

I quick intro!

I have been trawling this and other sites for years now and figure I should become active. Plus I have some questions that I cannot find answers to!

I have had my 73' 240z for 15 years now and have seen it through a few different colours and dints! - I am just about to get serious with it though.

I am currently running an l28 with a lumpy cam and tripple 40mm mikuni PHH's. I love these carby's but they are a pain to get parts for so I think some 45/47mm OER's are on my shopping list.

Any who, I live in Geraldton WA currently probably soon to be the Otway region in Vic and hope to put some faces to names in the future.

Cheers,

TB

I'll get some pics up this weekend, its looking a bit sad ATM.

Got a bruise from a patrol ute in the rear quarter. Anyone got a surplus fuel filler lid/door off a two seater they wouldn't mind parting with?

Its a good event, nice and laid back.

Its a pretty tight run though, it uses some of the local kart track.

There are some fast bits of kit hiding in the northern rivers!

The next couple of events;

May16th Grafton Hillclimb - Club Series Mountain View (Motor Sports Complex)

August 15th Hill Climb - Club Series

September13th Grafton Hillclimb - NSW State Round Championship

Call Ken Norton (02) 6642 6817 for more details

You will need a CAMS l2S lisence, but if you arrange it you can get them on the day. (If you join the club) not to dear though.

Theres a link to a V8 z doin the course,

And another link to an incar run (Caution Subaru content)

Zeds go fairly well there, I ran in a 2lt-5lt road registered class and ended up taking the trophy against RX7's Skylines and V8 commodores. To get the most out of it try and get some r comp tyres they make all the difference.

Change of topic!

I have just moved to Brizzie or the Switch to be more precise. Am looking for advice on some reputable tyre/wheel alignment places and a decent Nissan dealer to get the newer cars serviced at.

Cheers,

Tim

P.S. Any members on here also members of the ZCCQ.

Hiya,

I can help with the tyre/wheel alignment - Accurate Suspension 3828 0878. Ken there has done a few Z's apparently and has a pretty good looking 1600 too.

Welcome to QLD.

Tim, as per standard i am a little behind the times, and just noticed your thread. As being a member and also from geraldton, it is a pity we not catch up for a beer. However if you ever plan on heading back this way drop us a line.

Tim,

welcome to the forum.

WTF are you thinking leaving the beautiful and warm Geralton to come to the beautiful and freezing Otways???  Warm water to water straight of the pole!!  Typical Zed owner ... bloody nuts!!!

Welcome again.
