reverendzed Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Hi guys, I've decided to get someone to fit the front screen, I have the new rubber and wondered if anyone can recommend a mobile person. I know Windsceens O'Brian etc do it but I've also heard they are renown for not giving a damn! I don't want my new paint chipped in the process. Im in Narre Warren on the South East side of Melbourne Rev. Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted April 7, 2010 Moderators Posted April 7, 2010 Rev, it can be done pretty easily; all you need is some smallish nylon rope and patience.. Quote
KatoKid Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Agree with Dimitri, its not difficult to fit them but good sealing and doing it without damage is another thing. Would recommend a guy I used to deal with years ago, hes mobile and specialises in top end euro work (does all the work for Porsche Australia). For A Windscreen 0418 374 877 Marcus Cheers David Quote
620Z Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Let me know who you use and if they are any good Rev. As I need a new on put in my car as well. Cheers Quote
GV260 Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Ditto. Do you already have a new windscreen or do you need that as well as I'd be interested to know the cost. I got a quote recently from O'Briens for $382 fitted and RACV (who was dearer despite 20% member discount!) But as per Rev I'm worried about O'Briens chipping my brand new paint job. I've also heard that Auto Glass Vic (ph 95629088) charge $150 for fitment. Quote
