HELP NEEDED

Hey guys, I was driving today and gave the car a bit of a wind out in second next thing i get this terrible noise. Turns out my stub axle has sheared in half, no thread at all after the spline!!! everthing else ok though. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated

Did you still have the original 240Z shafts? If so, time to upgrade to 260Z items.

yep originals, its a clean break where thread meets splines. Are they bigger? straight swap without mod? Have any you wana sell?

Only if he needs the diff plug-in not the stub axles different things. The stub axle is the part that is pressed into the rear strut housing. The 240z units are 25 spline and the 260z units are 27 spline. You can install 260z stubs into the 240z strut housing you just need the matching companion flange with the correct spline ie 260z stub and companion flange is required.
