Gyra Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Has anyone had any experience with the K-Mac front camber adjustment kits? I'm getting some wear on the inside of my front right tire after installing some new (lower...) springs. (seems odd as the left tire is fine). Quote
Riceburner Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 I had funny wear after fitting my lower springs too, went and got a wheel alignment and that sorted it. They can check camber and castor as well to make sure they're both even. Quote
C.A.R. Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 It won't be a camber issue - it's a Toe issue. You'll need a set of adjustable inner Toe bushes. See here: http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,1861.0.html Quote
bluerat Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I think he's having problems with the front end Lurch, are the Robco adjusters for the rear? Gyra, like Gareth said get a wheel alignment, If the caster is different side to side you may have bent something like a strut or bottom arm? Quote
Gyra Posted December 23, 2009 Author Posted December 23, 2009 Thanks guys. I suspect the lower springs actually change both the camber and the toe - the lower arm is now more horizontal than before, therefore pushing the wheels towards more negative camber. I've got adjustable caster rods, so there is at least some adjustment available. Looks like a professional wheel alignment coming up after Christmas... G Quote
