stevo_gj Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Since we have a rapidly growing population of Gen Y Z owners, I thought I'd see who else is heading to the big day out this year? I love Muse but have never seen them live, so I can't wait! Quote
zzzzed Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 i think there is a very average line up this year I love the muse two but their new album is a bit ho hum!! Quote
C.A.R. Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 The lineup has been getting more mediocre as the years go by... Quote

maddos Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 all muse sounds the same overdone epic pieces of mediocre crap. Did it a couple of years ago when Wolfmother first came on the scene. Great day, got a bit too smashed though. Quote
luvemfast Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 The lineup has been getting more mediocre as the years go by... nothing like the good old days Must be hard to get in the pit with your walking sticks. Geez, comments like that make ME feel old Quote
zzzzed Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Must be hard to get in the pit with your walking sticks. Geez, comments like that make ME feel old lol nothing like woodstock hey mate the early days of the big day out where better for a number of reasons, like being able to sneak in alcohol without being caught and the ticket price was only about $70. For that was good value Quote
zedevan Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 i'm pretty shattered i was unable to get tickets this year - one of my mates was buying them and didn't come up with the goods muse, karnivool, rise against - thats enough for a reason for me to go (although i do agree that most muse songs sound the same) i went last year and the lineup was definately worse... luvemfast Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 lol nothing like woodstock hey mate Ease up tiger, I was born in 78, so I'm not THAT old (yet) Quote

zedevan Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 ahh thats rough mate, i've got a few mates in the same boat. fingers crossed for the ballet yeah i'm not overly hopeful, but am planning to see karnivool on their seperate tour and saw rise against earlier this year so meh out of curiosity, what lineup would people like it to have? remembering it isn't meant to be hosted by 104.3 Quote
lightmaster240z Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 If you want old I remember see Birthday party { Nick Cave per sell out} at the SeaView ballroom { the prince of wale hotel St Kilda} in the early Eighty and that was wild. regrads Bruce (Ex Punk) Quote

Jospef Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I might be going to the NZ one. Though the lineup isn't so great. Quote
