Brabham Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Hi guys, unfortunately it looks like my parts chassis may have to go. :'( :'( :'( :'( I started fixing this one but the floor is rusted out. At the moment I am gauging interest in it. I would love to see it finished but it is just a shell and I would hesitantly cut sections out of it. Definately a good chassis for someone who wants to perfect their welding . I believe it was a special lightweight version. It will go by the end of the year. Any interest?
Pigpen Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Hey Brabham, Pikks?? price?? BTW where are you?? with an oran park tag I am guessing NSW?? Cheers Mick
Brabham Posted September 27, 2009 Author Posted September 27, 2009 Hi, I will have to sort out what comes with it and decide on a price. I will post details within a week. The floor and wheel well will need replacing. Thanks.
DaveDimo Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 sorry guys i am unclear what the GRS stands for my 260 just has 260 on it. im guessing it is a different variation? fill me in very interested. dave
zzzzed Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 was wondering the same? I was thinking that was a mitsubishi thing
Administrators gav240z Posted September 27, 2009 Administrators Posted September 27, 2009 GRS Sport just refers to the 2+2 chassis code. GRS30 = 260z 2+2
Brabham Posted October 1, 2009 Author Posted October 1, 2009 Hi guys, I am hanging on to it for the moment as I really want to restore it. Will see how I go. Thanks. I believe it is about 50KG lighter than a standard 2+2. I know the seats are lighter, it has a few different bits and pieces, came with proper Hitachi's but they are gone now.
Mr240z Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Add 50kg of bog and it's a plastic boat... What a waste of a topic..
