Given this is does not confirm to the classified rules I thought some might still want to check out what is for sale here in NZ. I believe there are over 3 genuine 240RS here in NZ too - one is now requiring a re-shell after a major crash a month or so back - hit a bridge and the railing took out the back end of the car and the driver was only inches away from getting impaled him self - it was on the main sport news on TV but no photos on the web sorry only the summary of the rally results.

Anyway take a look at this piece of motorsport history for sale.

That car was FS a few months ago as a bare shell ready for paint, for 40k. Was cheap at the time...

What's the difference between the bodyshells, Mike? (If any).

I believe a bit much like the S30 shells that we got and what the works teams got - very different. ie thicker steel here for strength and thinner here for weight savings - they have their chassis coded as BS110 not S110 to ID these differences.

I have not really got into the 240RS history too new for my liking  ;D with the prices of old Datsun here in NZ I should have kept my 710sss :( and purchased that LZ head that was on trademe a few years back

Ok sweet

I think the z-cars look better but that would go well with an fj24 in it

Didnt know there was such an engine

There are a few little engine Nissan has built over the years - but Accountants seem to kill a lot off well that or the greens due to not making the new standards blah blah....
