TheZFeel Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Hey guys have been following a lot of the posts around here ever since i developed a love for the z car's when i saw one on eBay, it was a rust bucket but it had a silent yet distinguished demeanor about it. Although i am not an owner of any Z cars nor have i driven one i hope to own one as soon as i can afford it, studying 5 days a week right now so no time to make money :-( I have some money saved so im looking but don't like my chances. I want to make a Z car my first car as well as my first project car so im going to be relying on the wisdom and experience of the people on this forum at some or most likely alot of points throughout buying and fixing a Z car. I have been looking at 240-60 and 80z's however i haven't done much research on the major differences. But hey im stretching my intro, just want to say hello to all. Quote

Mr240z Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Jeff, I pulled the radiator out and h/balancer off to see why the crank bolt came lose for the second time...No woodruff key..Don't know how that happened because it was there when I replace the balancer 6 months ago. Anyway replace key and used loctite 243 red and a 3/4 rattle gun. Replaced the oil, coolant, check for oil leaks and strange nosies and than took her for a spin... Its all good..So far...She don't like being reved to 8 grand. Oh well the L28 getting close to being finished so all is good.. Thanks for asking....Zed Friend Pauly Quote
