mossy Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 Has anyone bought a gnose from z-spares, is it of good quality and does anyone have any pics? Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted March 8, 2006 Administrators Posted March 8, 2006 I have never bought a Gnose through Zshop/Zspares I've seen them though. My opinion is that if your going to use it on a track car it's fine but if your looking for the authentic ZG HS30-H look the only place to get a good one is from Japan. The most accurate kit with Flares, Headlight Covers, Upper and Lower section and bonnet hinges will probably set you back $6000. So it really just depends on how authentic a look you want. Personally I've never liked any of the fibreglass copies as much and it gives most people a bad perspective on what was a great addition to the styling of the Z  . Quote
mossy Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 Thats a bit pricey...I think i might go with something like thishttp://www.sr240z.com/srpictures/27.jpg Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted March 8, 2006 Administrators Posted March 8, 2006 Yes it is pricey, I'm still considering doing it. Almost seems a shame to have the Flares and fender mirrors but no Gnose. There is currently one on ebay for sale in Australia, Victoria even (Gnose) I'm talking about. Take a look it's $200 at the moment, looks to be alright quality depends what look you want though. Bonnet hinges are at least $300 US for OEM ones. I was going to buy some but they never reached reserve. I only know of a couple of people in Australia who might have some you could get copies of. Quote

Contact John of http://baddogparts.com/ for G-Nose hinges he makes them given you can't get them from Nissan anymore. His are a copy of the genuine items. Quote
