I'm sure I read somewhere that 2nd hand seat belts are illegal, if that matters to you.

I guess ask nissan for the seat belts, or try finding some NOS?  :-X

There was complete choke lever and cable on ebay which ended the other day without sale for 99c.

It may relist.

You'll probably have to look at aircon from later model not sure if earlier ones did the in dash setup??

Dimo, I don't understand your obsession with this Zed of yours...

I know it's very original, but IMHO your taking it too far.

If you can find NOS original seatbelts (highly doubtful) then thats ok, but an old set are downright dangerous...

Choke handles & cables are available brand new from places like AllZparts.

The Air-con you can use from any model 240/260Z as it is all the same - you could even use the basic system out of a early skyline. You'll never see any of it & NO-ONE will ever be able to tell.

Have you bothered to call any of these Zed retailers/wreckers places to find out whats available?

Dimo,

In Jul 2007 replaced the seat belts in my 73 240z with brand new original type static lap sash seat belts.  I purchased them from Hemco industries in Ballarat Vic, who are professional accredited seatbelt manufacturers. I ordered the seat belts over the phone and payed by credit card. They made the seatbelts to my specification and posted them to Darwin for me. They came with all new bolts etc. Total cost including GST and delivery to Darwin was $133.19.

The service was great and delivery was quick. Looking at the website now I don't think prices have increased too much.

I certainly would not mess around with second hand seat belts - which I also believe are illegal anyway.

Regards

Peter
