What cars came with R180 diff?

The reason im asking is because i recently acquired a reco'd R180 but its missing gasket for the inspection cover.

I called up Nissan, the guy said they were NLA, but i read somewhere that they came on the S13 or S14's i think, not sure. Just want to see if the gasket will be the same on the different diffs.

 

If some ones even got a part number for it,that'll be great.

The WRX STI's also came with a R180 lsd diff, just dont know if the inspection plate gasket is the same.

Sach, they are $19 new from Nissan.

Tell the Nissan guy to look harder.

 

S13/14/15 are R200, so they are NOT the same.

In any case, I didn't have a gasket last time I needed one,

so I just wiped the surfaces down with prepsol/thinners & applyed an even coat of 'Blue RTV'.

It's never leaked...

The Nissan in Bundoora. I had heard that there was a guy in Brighton but didnt know his name, i know now. I'll be sure to give him a call next time.
