Surly_Z Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I didn't see any posts with Adelaide Z Cars in the title, so I assume they're arent listed here? I've bought a few parts from these guys (Nick and Barry) for both my 240Z and Z31. The have a quite a range of wrecked parts, which are usually hard to find - like brake clips for my Z31. They're relatively cheap, offer a limited warranty on wrecked parts, and are a pleasure to deal with. Also they post anywhere on time. Anyone else had dealings with these guys? Maybe had them work on their car? http://www.adelaidezcars.com.au/ Quote
zzzzed Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 yeh they are agood bunch of guys. I have been out the back, and they have about 10 or 15 s30 bodys in their wrecking section.I also spoted a fairlady front cut with an l20turbo Quote
Mick280zx Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Cool... wouldn't have even known they existed without this posting. Quote
DoctorZ Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Yeah I actually thought they'd closed. Came across them somewhere once before but then couldn't remember the name. Just had a look at the cars parked in their drive way with google earth street view. I love the interminetz! Quote
scrumpy Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Yep good guys. Just bought a 240Z rear hatch glass from them for just over $200 in magnificent condition. Boxed brilliantly for its journey to Melbourne. Well worth a call is your after parts. Quote
xa1973 Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Well they must have got their act together is all I can say.........! Quote
zzzzed Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Well they must have got their act together is all I can say.........! why do you say that? Quote
xa1973 Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 A business that doesn't reply to Emails, sends you the wrong part /s when you do get hold of them by phone and doesn't get back to you when you order something that is.... coming into stock shortly, deserves to lose thousands of $$$ Thats why I say that... zzzzed Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 thats true how long ago did you deal with them? the new owners always bend over backwards to help me Quote
xa1973 Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 I started buying parts for the zx in late 2006 ready for the start of the complete refurb in early 2008......... Quote
zzzzed Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 that would have been around the time of transition that may explane things a bit Quote
xa1973 Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Thanks Mick Yes your probably right, I guess it was that first impression thing..I was really p*&#ed off at the time.......it took me long enough as it was to source and get the parts I wanted I try to run to a schedule when I'm doing a rebuild / refurb and usually buy everything I need, then strip it down and do the work in one hit If I get good service and value I always frequent and recommend the company Cheers Jeff Quote
