sjohn Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 Hi Guys, at long last i got my hands on a 72, 240z in fair condition, a little rust and the intierior needs attention. Can anyone tell me where I can get hold of the interior panels for the rear area (the side panels in particular) I am currently moving house from Kinglake into the Thornbury area, once I get settled the project will begin. Strip and snad and repaint, then engin O/H and suspension/brakes. Hope to catch up with some of you soon. Quote
Huw Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 hey, no idea on where to get the panels, am currently looking into it myself as my passenger side one is F.....ed, one suggestion someone made to me is to take it down to dashboard restorations (or a similar place) and see if they can plastic weld/repair it. however, if you find a good source of the panels, please post it cause I really want to get it right rather than bodging up. My parents have a house up in the Kinglake area maybe you have seen my red 240z in the township on the odd weekend. I love the drive up there in the Zed and the drive between healsville and kinglake scares the crap out of my g/f . The best place for interior pieces is probably the link that Mike gave above. Unfortuately they don't come cheap, however in my Z I have replaced the rear tail light cover with a speaker box. Best of luck and post some pictures Quote
