Anyway, I'm looking to sell my Datsun and wanted advice as to the best way to go about it. I guess my options are the classifieds on this site, eBay, or somewhere like Carsales.com. Forum members tend to very astute and knowledgable about condition and likely problems, so may not necessarily offer the highest price. Quote

framey Posted November 9, 2008 Author Posted November 9, 2008 Thanks guys, The reason for selling is a longish one, basically, I've had the car for 17 years, but unfortunately it has resided in my mother's garage for the last 13 years. I've always intended to bring the 240 down to Newcastle where I've lived for the last 12 years, but fear of rust and no garage to keep the car, along with the usual distractions, has meant the car has stayed in Tamworth. My mother is now selling her house and the car needs to be moved. As much as I'd love to keep the car, no garage and no need for a vehicle means the smart move is to sell. I'll put the details up in the classifieds. I'd be great to see the car go to someone that really appreciates it. Stephen Quote
