Individual Throttle Bodies - EFI hardware Brand.

I had planned to use this setup for my engine but I’ve made a decision to do an engine swap instead.

The parts consist of:

3 x EFI hardware DCOE Race Series throttle bodies RRP $400 each

6 x Bosch Injectors rated at 503cc.

Aluminium fuel rail

Inlet manifold – Each port has been modified to connect to a common rail for consistent vacuum pressure signal to ECU. The manifold has extra ports added as well.

Obviously you’ll still need a few bits to get it going, plus an ECU.

This is the ultimate EFI conversion setup for your zed engine. I’m only selling because I’m doing a V8 conversion instead :)

I’ll ship it interstate for $1300.

Call me on 0419094057 or 0749790969 after hours

Thanks

Eddii

I am interested but sadly have other things the money can go to on my new car.

Do you have throttle linkages?

I am guessing the ECU uses the vacum pressure to calculate airflow?

Do webber inlet cones fit onto this manifold?

Posted

Nope, I dont have the linkages, but they're easy enough to get from Efi hardware.

The ECU uses a MAP sensor, which detects the vacuum. No need for an airflow meter.

Inlet cones? if u mean velocity stacks or trumpets yes they do.

This really would be nice but unfortunatly the money must be used on other parts of the car.

I am planning on rebuilding my L28 Turbo in about 6-8 months, It would be ideal then.

Sorry with my terminology, Inlet cone is Underground Mine Ventilation terminology for the same thing.

LOL! I kinda guess it was the trumpets u were talkin about.

Im surprised no one would buy them, cause all up, this would cost around 2500 new!

the ITB's alone cost $1200 for a set! injectors $600+, inlet manifold was modified for better tuning, fuel rail blah blah blah :)

Add to that $180 for the fuel rail etc.

I will sit on it for a while, I will be kicking myself letting this deal go.

I hate not having any money!! To everyone thinking about this....its a great offer! I've bought all these components; buying these will save you heaps! If you need linkages, I have some here from EFI Hardware that will work with this setup. This is what you need for the ultimate induction setup for a L series....

ZedMan240 how much power did you engine produce with this setup?

With a bone-stock L28, 108 rwKw. With a midly worked L28 with 74' cam and some port work, 153rwKw. All on a Dyno Dynamics system. The good thing about these throttle bodies vs Weber/Dellorto carbs is there is no choke in the throat to hinder air flow. They are 45mm all the way through to the cylinder head. With that, they are an equivalent to a 48-50mm Weber.

Possibly even a little bigger?  I think 40mm Dellortos usually have either a 34 or a 36mm choke in them (can't remember which), so I'd guess at these being equivalent to the 50mm Weber at the conservative end of the scale?

I'd be considering these myself if they weren't in DCOE pattern (won't work in the confines of my V6 engine bay), but I'll have to stick with my GSX-R 750 throttles.  Definitely a good price.

Is this set up still for sale.......Also how far from complete is it? Am very interested as I am tired of the drama with my triple 45s

Posted

Yes, it is still for sale, basically you'll need the linkages, trumpets, fuel pump, sensors (depending on your choice of ECU) and an ECU. All this can be purchased from EFI Hardware, they have just updated their website so u can see all the parts needed ;)

Also we have a wealth of knowledge in this forum...Im pretty sure everyone would be more than happy to give out some advice ;)
