doudous Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 My 1st car was a tan 240Z - I regretted seller her 20 years ago and have finally found the right one to replace her! She's a one owner with only 67,000 miles in Mexican Orange! It's even got the right smell! (Memories....) I have a set of 16 inch performance rims and bullet fender mirrors coming.... Yeehar! Who's up for a cruise in Sydney? Quote
Cdr Zero Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 Very nice car doudous! Nice and original! I'd love to see it up close! I heard someone talking about a cruise to Goulbourn... Quote
doudous Posted August 12, 2008 Author Posted August 12, 2008 I have considered doing all the perfromance mods but it seems somehow sacreligious to mess up something that is so original and nice.... what are your thoughts? Quote
doudous Posted August 12, 2008 Author Posted August 12, 2008 Keep me posted - I am keen for a cruise - Golburn - isn't that near Wakefield Park? I will have to throw in the RB26 for that cruise! Quote
George Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 wow, very nice clean car. it would be a shame to mod it too much. congrats on the purchase. check this thread for the cruise in sydney http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,2587.0/topicseen.html Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted August 12, 2008 Moderators Posted August 12, 2008 Well done! Clean, original and nice! As for mods, i would probably just do wheels, triple carbs and cam and enjoy how she looks, then how she sounds! Quote
chris240 Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 wow very neat. congrats on your baby zed ! yeah , I reckon a cruise to goulburn from sydney sounds like a good idea Quote
sydney mike Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 congrats & welcome doudous, thats a fine Z you have there. Love that colour too, probably my second favourite after silver . With the mods, i reckon just don't do anything thats irreversible (don't cut anything up). Period mods like triple carbs, exhaust, suspension, mags steering wheel etc. Can't wait to see the car in the flesh, we should be organizing the inaugural Sydney get-together soon. Quote
Lynton Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Just iron out all the imperfections and fix up the worn cosmetics, hold the originality, even keep the original fender mirrors! better wheels electronic ignition and you are away with one rare beautiful car Lynton Quote
mrp69 Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 congrats seen this car in the flesh nice car peter Quote
