I PURCHASED A Z31 REAR DIFF AND A BUNCH OF OTHER PARTS TOTALING $1470 FROM ZWORX. I PURCHASED THEM IN FAITH THAT Z ENTHUSIESTS LOOK AFTER Z ENTHUSIESTS.

ZWORX GOT MY MONEY THREE MONTHS AGO AND ASSURED ME ID HAVE THE PARTS WITHIN A WEEK.

THE PROBEM IS I HAVE NOT RECIEVED MY PARTS AND AS I LIVE IN SYDNEY I CANT JUST GO THERE AND CONFRONT HIM. AFTER PLENTY OF EXCUSES ZWORX DOESNT ANSWER MY CALLS OR EMAILS ANYMORE AND I FEEL LIKE IVE BEEN CONNED.

It looks like you had your zed for little while, so couldnt you have jumped on here a while ago , make yourself known, then ask for recommendations.

Im sure the topic of Zworks has been covered before.

I think youve started off on the wrong foot.

I don't think you're the only one after some blood al167, I've been told people have been pounding on the door demanding answers and leaving with nothing. I don't think Zworx is run by an enthusiast at all. I'd be checking any legal avenues if I were you.

write a letter to him, asking for the parts within a reasonable time (14 days?) and if not, then the money back, and tell him that if this isn't done in 14 days you will be contacting consumer affairs victoria or taking the matter to VCAT (Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal - this may be tricky as you're in NSW, but sometimes you van have a proxy i think...) give consumer affairs victoria a call (they may tell you to ring fair trading NSW) and they'll give you this advice

 

i have had only good experiences with zworx in the past, but it was a long time ago, i guess before the change in ownership

 

but do send a letter...it always works better than a phone call or emails for getting things done...

There is also a Datsun parts Supplier in the US who is also chasing Zworx for money...........seems Zworx ordered $300+ of parts......... and after shipping canceled the payment.

The supplier in the US contacted me (I have sourced Roadster parts from them previously) to see if I could assist.

 

Seems that Z worx is not making many new friends

im with you on this one it took over a month to catch him for a diff braket rang and rang and rang oh yer and i rang!!! over him all together his only there when he feels like it .... not sure he can figure out that if the cars a rare..... then the people building them will stick like glue and share info about parts and what not!!

i hear every word from ya mate, Zworx is a big ripoff too. I swear they were charging me brand new price for second hand crap. I learnt my lesson, so a lot of the stuff i source is from overseas. The Z Store is a big help with small items, espeacially when you bulk and ship. God love true zed specialist.

I had a run in with him too i rang him at lunch time for a price on a some stuff which he said he had, i rocked up after work where he only had half the stuff and then tried to double the price he quoted to me on the phone only 3 hours before!!!

Looks like at the rate he's going, he'll be out of business soon. Being that Z owners are such as small community and that this site basically has almost every Z enthusiast signed up, looks like he's dug his own grave.

 

Someone once said to me he seemed more into Valiant's than Zeds. Sounds like it wasn't far off the truth. He's probably not even aware of this website.

its true there are like 3 valiants out the front ........on that note of being a rip!!

i got that rear diff bracket off him the one that looks like a leaf spring... $150.... i was going to walk but it was the last thing i needed to get it going... he asked $200 you belive that and the dam thing was still covered in crap had to rap it in cardboard to keep it from staining the carpet in my car!!!
