260Z floor pan replacement tips....?

Hey guys, 

What tools are you using to form and shape your floor pans into position for welding? I am about to embark on this journey lol... i saw an autobody set on Amazon....will this do? Any other tools i might need? 

I have clamps and hole clecos so I'm good there

Bead Roller.
I suggest you only replace the sections that ACTUALLY need rust repairs - making a whole late Z floor pan is a HUGE job...

I actually bought the ZEDD floor pans

I don't understand why you would need to reshape the new floors.

Use butt welds. If you use lap joins you'll just encourage rust.

I trimmed my new floors then laid them over the old ones and marked out a cut line. I cut the old floor out with a thin cut-off wheel in an angle grinder and snips.

I then positioned the new floor and welded it in position. I then added new rails.

I did it on a rotisserie but it shouldn't be any different welding from inside the cabin.

Man those look really good!!! I was told that the fitment wouldnt be the best so i would have to work them into place bit i guess that would be for more of a lap weld with that type of fitment.
