cracker Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 (edited) Will fit all 2 seater 260z but is correct for late 260z. If you want to fit to a 240z this will work with a small adaptor bracket (for rear panel RHS) that I can provide (was fitted to my 240z). Located Adelaide and reluctant to post given this stuff is usually quite fragile but if you have any ideas and really want it let me know. $300 Pic below Edited March 17, 2019 by cracker Scotty_Rah 1 Quote
gilltech Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 To fit a 240 or early 260 the gap at the top of the rear strut needs to be filled with something, piece of vinyl maybe; this as the late 260s have taller rear struts hence the window panels are different at rear (two fixing points instead of three). Nice set of trims though. cracker 1 Quote
cracker Posted February 28, 2019 Author Posted February 28, 2019 Yes, spot on gilltech. Also has a small hole/gap for the RHS hatch strut that would not have existed on a 240z. All made for a perfect fit on 260z, not 240z! Quote

Yes, the 260Zs have a pair of hatch struts, the 240Zs only one. I've also long been of the impression that from 260Z-on the panels were made slightly thicker than the early S30 ones and have slightly more surface texture, better quality IMO. Nice set of panels, I'd buy them if I wasn't halfway across the country in Brisbane. Tricky things to box up and post. Quote
cracker Posted March 6, 2019 Author Posted March 6, 2019 Yep, the 260z trim is thicker and effectively better quality and more durable than the flimsy 240z stuff. Quote
