I am looking at putting some strut braces in my 260Z

I would like to see what setups people already have installed.

Be that Custom or Store Bought.

Prices and any technical issues with your installs would be great.

My front brace is the DIY type that can be made out of that blue square tubing and 20 cents worth of steel plate and the rear comes with the $1200 cage....

And an engine I wish I had in my engine bay.....

hi hunter great to see another tasmanian on the site i know theres another guy on here from tassie hopefully if we can get a few we can meet up for cruise or club day im from devonport currently working at savage river

i went with cusco strut braces front and rear can buy off ebay about $250 each very nice gear

nice easy fit if you have standard strut mount but ive changed to adjustable camber plates so modified mounts to suit also wanted strut brace nice and low to allow for different air intake im wanting to fit once engine is up and running

Hey Mick, if you decide to have a cruise day please advise if it's a "more Z's the Merrier" type of thing and I will update it in the events calendar for max exposure!?

Hey Mick

That sounds good. The only ZED CAR I have on the road at the moment is my Z32, unregistered but who needs that lol.

I have been looking at those cusco ones, they look to be a good reasonable option. easy to fit to.

The roll cage was fitted by Brown Davis in Bayswater. Would like to drive a turbo L28 one day....never had the pleasure!

Here's a pic of my strut brace in my 240. It is a custom job with rose joints at either end to tie into the strut top mounts and give us some adjustability for length. The front end of my car has also been seam welded to stiffen it up considerably as the rules don't allow for the cage to extend into the engine bay.

The rear strut brace is part of the cage.
