Wanted 71 Aus 240Z Wiring Diagram

Hi,

 

Has anyone got a copy of a Aus 71 240Z wiring diagram they could post up or a link?

 

I have searched this forum and  the web but not found what I'm after. The US looms are different with some having combined brake and rear indicators wires.

 

My car came as a bare body without a loom. I have a rear loom which I think could be the  original. I also have a front loom and dash loom from another car.No idea on the year it came from.

 

I put a 260Z dash in because my car has a roll cage and I didn't want to chop the 240Z dash. It was a bit of work because I used the 240Z loom and gauges. For a couple of the gauges I had to use the 260Z gauge bodies to make it easier to mount the 240 gauge sin the 260 dash. Some chopping also needed to clear the 240Z pedal box.

 

I've started putting it in and got most of it sorted by matching the plugs up. The bits left are:

 

1. A few stay single wires at the ends of the looms where they plug under the dash

2. Some wires have been chopped in the tail light plug. When I plug it up the colours don't match.Not sure if there are some colour transitions at the plug or something else is out.

3.Not sure what the second fuse box plug is meant to plug to. I must have missed something under the dash.

3. I have no relays at all, but a 71 may have nothing more than the flasher can.

 

A wiring diagram with plug details showing colours would be super if there's one out there.

 

Any Aus diagram would be very helpful.

FSM has a number of diagrams, including all the pinouts.

i think aus one matches the euro spec ( the one without the hazard lights)

there's  a link somewhere on the forum

I've been searching a bit for a FSM and found a few links, but haven't yet found a link that actually works.

 

I did see your couple of threads on the relays which may be help a bit.

Mymadz the wiring digrarm was what I was after but the resolution is a but small for me to see the wire detail.

 

Sixshooter the FSMs are perfect. The Electrical section of the 72 manual provides a nice bit of extra detail.
