I'm offering a free carton or two to anyone who'd like to come out and help me remove my engine and auto trans.

I've removed the exhaust, carbs, hosing etc, i'm just at a stage now where the engine and trans need to come out (have a blown head gasket + doing a manual conversion)

I've never done this before and its probs a more than one person job.

I can source an engine crane if req, and have most std tools - just need the manpower and knowledge.

Located on Northside Brisbane

Cheers Matt

It's not necessary to remove both the engine & transmission.

The Trans can be removed from underneath by one person, as long as you have axle stands high enough. The box only weights 40kg.
The head gasket can be removed with the engine in place.

I like Coopers Sparking & James Squire Golden Ale - I can PM you you my address.

It's a 1 person job if you have a engine crane..and you have the OEM hooks on the engine to help pull it out.

Didn't even have to ask the Cheese and Kisses for help!

Well I managed to get the trans out this afternoon, the engine should be a piece of cake next weekend.

I don't have the OEM hooks for the engine but i'll get something sorted out.
