Hi Alan

I bought a new switch from my Nissan dealer...genuine part but it was about $100.

Another option is this non genuine lock but the switch will not work when fitted to the back of your original lock.

Hi

Wow, I wouldn't have thought you would be able to get them anymore. Guessing it must fit some later model vehicles as well, At $100 that is pretty good buying for a genuine switch.

Some time back I tried my local dealer he had zero interest in even looking up parts let alone actually selling them I ended up fitting a complete barrel and switch assy I got off the internet.

Cheers

Correction..... I just pulled both locks apart and found that the tab, coming out of the key barrel of the aftermarket one was not aligned correctly and that put the position of the electrical switch out. When I bent that and re-positioned the switch they all work fine on both key locks...sorry about the misleading comment must be my age...or something...

Like the heat, by all accounts it has been, and will continue to be around 40 degrees in the New England area.
