WogsRus Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Guys i finally got some rims for the Z, they are a 16x7 +15 XXR513. Question, rims fit perfect so no issue there, wondering what width tires to get 225/55/16 or 215/55/16. WIll either rub on a 260z 2+2 Car is in the tire place as we speak so any answer woudl be good. Groundhog Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 I have 205/55/15 rears and 195/55/15 front. Bridgestone RE003'sGH Quote
Cozza Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 I would expect 225's to poke out the guards a smidge with +15 offset rims. Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted November 16, 2016 Moderators Posted November 16, 2016 Gidday I have 225/50/15 0 offset front & rear on my bus Front just fits, almost hits the valance on turn. Rear fits well, I added 12mm spacers, so a +15 would be good. Cheers PB Quote
44014 Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 I had these wheels fitted to my car with Kumho Ku36's in 245/50/16 loved the way it looked with the meaty Tyre but they rubbed pretty hard. You also have to remember a 215 or a 225 in a Bridgestone is different to a Dunlop and different again in a Pirelli. Hell, I have had a 285 Pirelli fitted to a 21inch rim and it was 20mm skinnier then the same size but different compound Pirelli. Quote
