Well I recently Paid $1100 for a 4.3 lsd and sold my 3.7 open for $350 and that was sold before i even advertised it...

But i made the mistake of leaving my pinion flange on it and now my tail shaft wont fit the one on my LSD :(

Depends if they have the full complement of clutch discs or not.

Most LSD centres, from factory, have a thick spacer disc, these can be removed and additional clutch discs fitted

The dscs from Isuzu Rodeo utes are thicker, and this enables less deformation of the Belleville spring washers, on assembly, to get a hgher "break away" torque reading , up to 140 ft lb vs the stock setting of 50-70 ft lb.

3.9 or lower (numerically higher) are the ones in demand, 3.9 LSD's in good nick were selling for $1,000+ years ago. Like a lot of this sort of S30 stuff the prices can only go up, particularly for a diff that has not been made new for a long time.

Thanks guys for your replies, I actually have a few diffs at the moment so just trying to work out what way to go in the cars.

I have a 3.7 lsd and 3.9 lsd. The 3.7 is in my car at the moment but the 3.9 will be going in once I sort out my Z31 axles and take out the wolf creek ones.

I also have a 3.9 and 4.11 open diffs which probably the 4.11 will end up in my wife's 260 2+2 but not sure.

Just that I don't really know what there worth or how hard they are to come by.
