Administrators gav240z Posted May 18, 2016 Administrators Posted May 18, 2016 I was at the fuel station the other week with my 72 240z and a fella comes up to me and says I used to have a 260z etc.. Anyway usual story from there. Tells me he has a manual for it still if I want it? I asked if it was a factory service manual but he wasn't sure. Anyway gave me his phone number and sent me this image later. Are these worth getting? Anything good in them that isn't available in other manuals? Pretty sure he just wanted postage for it. If anyone is interested I can pass on his number of get it sent to me and then post it out to you. Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted May 22, 2016 Moderators Posted May 22, 2016 Hi, I am not familiar with the Chilton manuals but with 16 years and multiple engines coveredI can't see there being that much detail. Just my 2c worth. Cheers PB Quote
banzaized Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 American, their manuals usually don't even get close to what you will get out of a Haynes(and Haynes don't rate next to a factory manual). but If it's free, grab it, you will probably get something out of it. Quote
