blu260z Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Hi guys looking at buying some rims. Size is 15x 8+15 will they clear the inside of the strut towers? I did try searching but didnt seem to find anything on how much clearance you have as you go + or - Thanks chris Quote
dat2kman Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 In an 8" width, you can just clear a +4 So at + 15 its going to need longer studs and spacers that are afxed to hub, or to wheel. Quote
blu260z Posted February 12, 2016 Author Posted February 12, 2016 Thanks. That answers my question I think will have to look for something around the 15x8 0 offset. Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted February 12, 2016 Moderators Posted February 12, 2016 (edited) I have a set of 15X8 at 0 wheels with 225/50/15 tyres, and they are a nice fit, clearing everything although possibly a little narrow on back at 0. I reckon a -10 or so rim on the back will fill guard about the same as the front Cheers PB Edited February 12, 2016 by PB260Z Quote

Luca Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 Hey guys looking at getting 15X8 -14 wheels, will they fit on the 240z? Quote

Assuming stock suspension, they'll fit, but they'll stick out your guards and therefore be illegal. 15 x 8 0 offset is commonly accepted as a nice flush fitment, so -14 is 14mm further towards the outside of the car (and probably about 10-12mm outside the guards) so will look silly as well as not being legal.
