Mr Camouflage Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Not sure how I feel about this I like seeing new things done to Zeds, but 1930-1950s USA style Rad Rod and the 240Z seem like a dichotomy of styles. http://ozdat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=34053 the mockup: gav240z 1 Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted December 21, 2015 Administrators Posted December 21, 2015 I like it from a creative perspective and glad if is being done to a 280z and not an early car . Quote
Six_Shooter Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 It needs to be narrowed up in the front end to make it look right, but the idea is intriguing. Quote
Cozza Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Not sure about it yet but what blows me away is what they get away with in the US compared to our mod regulations. Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted December 22, 2015 Moderators Posted December 22, 2015 Certainly an interesting look. Agree with Gav about being glad it is not an early car, it looks like the car was pretty much stuffed beforehand. Cheers PB Quote
Mr Camouflage Posted December 22, 2015 Author Posted December 22, 2015 (edited) I like it from a creative perspective and glad if is being done to a 280z and not an early car . According to the video they say its a 240z. It was apparently modified to look like a 280Z. No idea why someone would do that. Maybe they wanted it to look like a newer model car back in the day. It does have a 240Z dash, and Steering wheel. Early style door jambs, so could be either a 280 or 240. Probably makes more sense that its a 280z with a 240Z dash, rather than the other way around.
