KatoKid Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Anyone got a recommendation as I hear so many conflicting reports from everyone I ask! Thanks Quote
Retro Z Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Classic Chrome in geelong is good but abit expensive. I got my bumper done for $350 Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted August 31, 2015 Administrators Posted August 31, 2015 http://www.vinneys.com.au/ +1 I did the same research on this a while back and this was the company i was going to take my 72 rear bumper to. Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted August 31, 2015 Administrators Posted August 31, 2015 Here is the post. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/12896-wtb-rear-bumper-2-seater-s30z/ I didn't get around to it because RWC didn't require it in the end, and I need to find some appropriate size fasteners also. I should have some rubber trims for it though, so once it's rechromed and I get the fasteners sorted I'll pop it back on. Quote
mossy Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 I used classic chrome for my bumpers and still holding up well 4 years later. I have heard good things about vinneys too. I also used Rob at Star plating in Bayswater when I was into restoring bmx bikes, very good work. Quote
KatoKid Posted September 2, 2015 Author Posted September 2, 2015 Thanks guys. I've read good things about Vinneys and Star quality. Cheers Quote
Zedstar Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Vinneys quality is fantastic. They are not cheap and you don't want to be in a hurry - but the result is worth it. gav240z 1 Quote
